Old Indiana Bottling Factory Renovated Into Beautiful Downtown Indianapolis Hotel – See Inside
If you are like me, when you travel, you like to stay at some place unique. You know, some place out of the ordinary. I want something cool, interesting, and if it has history attached to it, I'm all in.
Recently, on a trip to visit my son in Indianapolis, he took me to a really awesome place to eat called The Garage. It's located in a part of downtown Indy called the Bottleworks District. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to move there.
What is the Bottleworks District?
According to their Facebook page,
They say it’s what’s on the inside that counts. They say that what goes into something is what makes it special. The place once known for filling bottles was also known for something more. A vision for the future–the pride of an entire community. They used to think that what went into those bottles had the power to make you feel alive.
But what if where they filled them was the true source of inspiration?
This is Bottleworks District.
Enjoy. Fill every moment

Multiple buildings repurposed into a Art Deco hotel, food court and entertainment area . Now know as the Bottles Works district along Mass Ave.We arrived between 6:30-7:00 pm yesterday and it was hopping. The “ Garage “ was full of people eating and drinking . It took several minutes to get a table to sit at so we could eat. They have a variety of food options to choose from pizza, Clancy‘s Hamburgers ,Greek, J Lobster’s, as well as others . There’s two parking lots behind the Garage as well as a parking garage. Valet parking is available at the hotel.

Amazing place, beautifully appointed, fascinating art deco architecture. We actually had our room made up without asking which is rare these days. Fantastic area to be. Will be our choice if ever in Indy again. - Allison/Booking.com
Great location! Very Walkable trendy area with good food options around. The Garage Food court was too loud for us so we ended up at cute Mimis meatballs. Very dog friendly. Nice coffee shop attached to the hotel for our morning Joe Hotel rooms were huge, lovely comfortable king bed, giant shower with a shower head coming from above. Great water pressure. Very clean and new. Enjoyed all of the vibe. - Kathleen/Booking.com

The Bottleworks district is such an amazing place to visit and stay! The hotel is just absolutely gorgeous, having been renovated back to a gothic, art deco style from it's original era. The history is cool and interior design are perfect. The camera wall and suitcases were my favorite! The proximity to the other fun things to do...eat and play games allows you to stay put and walk across the street to have excellent food, drinks and duck pin. I highly recommend!!! We'll go back again! - Rebecca/Booking.com
Just went above and beyond. Love the fact that you guys personally texted me before our stay to see if you could do anything exceptional for our upcoming stay. Loved the water dispensers throughout the floor and hand sanitizers throughout. Just an amazing stay with everything in walking distance. We’ll definitely be back. - Gino/Booking.com
