Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces Make Their First State Basketball Semifinal!

The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces upset Scott County today in the KHSAA Girls Sweet Sixteen Tournament! They are headed to their first State Basketball Semifinal!

After Scott County went cold at the end of the stretch, the Lady Aces put on a masterful performance by beating them 62-51, in the KHSAA Girl's Sweet 16 at Rupp Area in Lexington. Scott County was 34-1 going into this match-up with Catholic. It was just Catholic's turn for a massive upset!

Hannah McKay led the way for Owensboro Catholic with a 23 point, 14-rebound double-double. WOW. What a game!

Owensboro Catholic will head to the the Final 4 for the first time in school history tomorrow, March 15th, 2019 at 5:30pm. GO Lady Aces! We'll be cheering you on.
