Owensboro-Daviess County Students Awarded Independence Bank Scholarships
Yesterday, Angel and I were invited to Apollo High School for the special reveal and awarding of some huge college scholarships from Independence Bank. There's normally a special in-person reception for the annual winners, but COVID-19 caused officials with the bank to rethink how they would present the larger awards this year. So, they assembled six of the winners from the Owensboro area and surprised them in a small ceremony yesterday.

Angel and I had the chance to chat with a few of the recipients following the ceremony. They were surprised, honored and humbled. As their senior years come to a close, we can't wait to see what they do next. There's no doubt, with the assistance from Independence Bank, they are ready to tackle the future and that future has no limits.
