Owensboro Police Issue Update Regarding Suspicious Death Case

On March 3rd, Owensboro police were called to the 2300 block of Ben Ali Court in regards to a male subject with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

48-year-old Sean "Cali" Andersen was later pronounced dead at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

A subsequent investigation led detectives to a search for Anthony Todd Logsdon, a person of interest in the case.

Earlier today, the OPD issued a press release confirming that Logsdon came to the police department yesterday, March 13th, and spoke with detectives.

He was later taken into custody on a non-related arrest warrant.

The Andersen case remains open and the investigation continues.
