If You Use the Audubon Parkway, Leave Early the Next Couple of Days
It wasn't that long ago that I was driving to Evansville and wondered if all the parts that make up my car would still be there by the time I got across the Audubon Parkway.
They all made it.
But after Wednesday, I will no longer be concerned about such an, admittedly, exaggerated dilemma.
Our buddy, Keith Todd, from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has alerted us to a lane restriction on the Audubon that will begin Tuesday morning and last through Wednesday.
The parkway will be down to one lane beginning at the 22.7 mile point so that crews may repair the driving surface.
This stretch of the Audubon runs from the Sorgho exit to the interchange with the 60 Bypass.
Also, the restriction will be for both eastbound AND westbound traffic.
There will be plenty of flaggers and maintenance crew workers so please obey all reduced speed limit signs and, needless to say, you might want to leave a little early.
