Owensbroro Parks and Rec. Daddy/Daughter and Mother/Son Date Nights

The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department just announced their annual Daddy/Daughter and Mother/Son Date Nights are coming soon!

Both events, which will be held in March, will feature a Hawaiian Theme and those in attendance are welcome to dress for the theme! The evenings will feature a diner-style dinner, dance contests, games, and prizes.

The Daddy/Daughter Date Night, which is in its 18^th year, is scheduled for Friday, March 16 from 6-8:30. Fathers, uncles, grandfathers, or other male guardians are invited to bring their daughters, ages 3-12.

The Mother/Son Night of Fun, in its 14^th year, is scheduled for Saturday, March 17 from 6-8:30 p.m.  Mothers, aunts, grandmothers, or other female guardians are invited to bring their sons, ages 4-12.

Both events will take place at the Owensboro Sportscenter. The fee for each event is $34 per couple; each additional child is $17.  Registration is going on now through Friday, March 9.
