PorchFest Kick-Off Party for Wendell Foster on Wednesday!

There's a WBKR Yard Party, sponsored by Budget Blinds of Owensboro, to get ready for PorchFest OBKY and to benefit Wendell Foster Center. Come join us for all of the FUN!

PorchFest OBKY, presented by Independence Bank, is coming up this Saturday in Owensboro. We're SO excited, and that's why we decided to start the party early.

Come see us on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019 from 11A-1P, for a WBKR Yard Party like no other, and proudly sponsored by Budget Blinds of Owensboro. It's a PorchFest Kick-off Party to benefit the Wendell Foster Center. It's going to be a blast and everyone is invited to attend. It will be a rain or shine event. We'll be partying under the carport at the WBKR Studio, if it rains, and offering drive up service! Otherwise, come eat with us on the front lawn and just look at what's planned.

The PorchFest OBKY team will be here selling t-shirts (see shirt info below) and they'll have the event schedule and maps available as well. Shirt sales benefit Wedell Foster, so stop by and pick one up to wear this Saturday, during the festival. It's going to be a blast!

Andy Brasher will be performing live, to get us excited about all of the music we'll hear on Saturday, up and down Griffith Ave. in Owensboro.

Locally and Veteran owned, Liberty Dogs will be pulling up the food cart to serve up some delicious food. You can get 2 hotdogs, chips and a drink for just $5 bucks. I'm already getting hungry thinking about it!

Family owned and operated, Kona Ice will be pulling up in the shaved ice entertainment truck, with all of those delicious flavorful options! Again, proceeds from sales will benefit such a wonderful cause!
