Portion of J.R. Miller Boulevard Will Be Closed Wednesday

If you are planning to use J.R. Miller Boulevard in Owensboro on Wednesday, be advised that a portion of it's going to be closed and detours will be in place.

According to city officials, both lanes of J.R. Miller Boulevard between Legion Boulevard and Byers Avenue will be closed from 8am to 11am CST on Wednesday, December 27th.  Crews will be working to remove a tree in that area.  Motorists will encounter a temporary detour during the time frame above.  Please use caution and attention while driving in this area.
