Remember the Movie Shazaam Starring Sinbad? No, You Don’t and Here’s Why…

I noticed on Facebook that everyone seemed to have an opinion about some obscure Nineties movie. Do you remember watching the movie Shazaam starring actor/comedian Sinbad? Yeah, me too! Problem is, it was never actually a movie. 

But, I know you are like, what? I totally watched that movie. I watched First Kid, House Guest, and then Shazam on TNT one weekend just a few months ago. Right? Nope. Sinbad was never a genie or had anything to do with a movie called Shazaam. But you are not alone. Social media is blowing up about Sinbad's genie days. But, there's no proof that the movie was ever made - no VHS, no movie photos, no reruns, not even Sinbad remembers playing the part.

Some people are blaming The Mandela Effect where a group of people all have the same erroneous memory.The logical explanation is that you actually watched that epic1996 Oscar worthy film Kazaam starring Shaquille O'Neal. You might have wished you were watching the superior acting skills of David Adkins (aka Sinbad) but ya weren't.

It's okay though, as long as you remember Tom Cruise starred in Forrest Gump and Bea Arthur starred in the Wizard of Oz, we are all good.
