Where to Get a Pup Cup in Owensboro for Dogs Who Love Ice Cream

When I was in high school, my friend Amy had a dog named Daisy.  I specifically remember that Daisy LOVED ice cream.  Amy and her parents would routinely roll up in the drive-thru of local restaurants and get that dog her own ice cream cone or cup of ice cream.  I also remember being curious how Daisy could eat that ice cream so fast and furiously without getting a brain freeze.

Well, Daisy wasn't alone.  Lots of other dogs scream for ice cream too.  I'll admit it.  I've never tried to feed it my dogs, but I have a hunch they would love it.

Ice cream for dogs is so popular that a lot of local restaurants offer what they call "pup cups."  And, yes!  That's exactly what it sounds like.  It's cups of ice cream for dogs.

As a matter of fact, just a few weeks ago, I saw this post from a relatively new restaurant here in Owensboro.

Yes!  Tropical Smoothie Cafe, which this adult happens to be addicted to, treats dogs at the drive-thru to a peanut butter cup.  Mental note!  I am going to have to roll my three terrors up in there.  They friggin' LOVE peanut butter.  If I ever need to trick them into taking medicine, all I have to do is disguise it in a big spoonful of JIF. Tropical Smoothie Cafe isn't going to know what hit 'em when Yogi, Simon and Ellie roll up to the window.

Seeing Tropical Smoothie Cafe's post got me thinking.   Where else in Owensboro can you get a "pup cup?"  So, I asked Candace (our fabulous WBKR receptionist) to hop on the phone and start dialing through the phone tree.  Here's what she and I found!
