Sign on Kentucky County Road Has Drivers A Bit Freaked Out & Curious [PHOTO]

Have you ever been driving along and see something on the side of the road that made you say HUH?!  A sign in this Kentucky town has drivers scratching their heads.

WHAT'S UP WITH THAT CAN OF BEANS?

Here at the radio station, we do what we call Digi Awards in January of every year.  These awards are fun and quirky and celebrate the articles each Radio Personality or Content Creator produces each year.  One of the awards that always pop up year after year is "What's Up With That Can Of Beans?"  Basically, this is the award for a story about a question people are asking but nobody knows or says anything so someone steps up and tackles the subject.

Just this week in Owensboro a resident found herself asking this question as she drove down the road and noticed a weird and out-of-place road sign.

IS THIS SIGN OUT OF PLACE OR IS THIS JUST PERFECT PLACEMENT?

Brandi Baker lives in Daviess County and said she was driving to work and saw the sign;

It’s kind of creepy and kind of hilarious. I wondered if it was part of a travel scavenger hunt… or an attempt to slow people down in the S curves because people drive in the center all the time right there. So so random.

She said it was the most random thing.  The other side says DON'T STOP!  She said when she saw the other side she actually stopped and then realized she didn't need to.  Several of her Facebook friends had their own ideas.

Who else remembers this horror movie from the 80s?  This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the sign.

This brings us to the other side of the sign and seems most appropriate!

Brandi says the sign is mysterious gone after her post.  She says she is totally invested at this point and wants to know where it came from.
