A skydiver in Peru named Fernando Gava with more than 1,000 jumps under his belt experienced unexpected terror when his suit got stuck on the plane's exit step. He remained dangling 10,000 feet up in the air for half an hour while friends and family looked on below.

Eventually, Gava used a knife to slice the pant leg from his suit, enabling him to enjoy a smooth descent.

After all was said and done, Gava only suffered a cut on his hand.
