Southern Oaks Elementary School Student Wins State Art Show

We're sending out a big congratulations to Isabella Spade, who's a fifth-grade student at Southern Oaks Elementary School.  According to the Daviess County Public Schools, she just won first place in the "elementary drawing" category of the Kentucky Elementary and Middle School All-State Art Show.  Here's a look at her artwork that snagged the top prize!

The awards ceremony is set for Friday, April 26th at 6:30 p.m. at the Jessamine County Public Library in Nicholasville.  There, Isabella will be presented with a certificate and medal for her amazing work.

The annual art show is proudly sponsored by the Kentucky Art Education Association.
