What a find! And I'm not just talking about Studio 105 acquiring an extraordinary collection of original charcoal and pastel drawings of some of the most iconic figures in entertainment history. I'm also talking about me getting to see them!

Studio 105 owner Jamie Dewitt has acquired somewhere between 150 and 200 original drawings by the late Gary Adelman, an Owensboro artist who passed away in 2001 but left a legacy representing his amazing talent.

These charcoal and pastel drawings were completed between 1982 and 1991. That's key when you take a look at the Oak Ridge Boys piece which features Steve Sanders who replaced William Lee Golden in 1987. Sanders, who passed away in 1998, left the group in 1995 and was replaced by Golden.
