Monday is going to be educational in terms of the 2017 solar eclipse.  It's also going to be nutritious.  Daviess County Public Schools will be celebrating the total solar eclipse with special "eclipse" lunches.  Check out the menu!

The Daviess County Public Schools and Owensboro Public School Systems have  teamed up to encourage our community to support students in Owensboro-Daviess County as they prepare for the start of a new school year.

Daviess County Public Schools is continuing it's mission of providing nutritious and delicious food to children in the summer months when school is not in session.

One of the fondest memories I have of high school was my Driver's Education Class.  It was taught by Mr. Broughton at Apollo High School and he was always so much fun!

It's almost time for high school graduations!  And Daviess County Public Schools have released the official schedule for our local graduations.

As one school year starts to wind down, Daviess County Public Schools are helping parents and students prepare and get signed up for another.  Next week, the school system will open online registration for the 2017-2018 school year.

The Daviess County Public Schools will be accepting registrations starting in March for children who will begin preschool or kindergarten beginning in August 2017.

Daviess County Public Schools food services department recently announced adding a mobile app and online options that will allow parents and guardians to check out school  menus and nutrition information about lunches and breakfasts being served in DCPS schools.

The Daviess County Public Schools district is proud to announce 110 students have been recognized by the College Board for their exceptional achievement on the college-level AP Exams.

The Daviess County Public Schools district is celebrating the results of Advanced Placement tests taken by students at Apollo and Daviess County high schools in May 2012!
