While we have plenty of flood water in the Owensboro-Daviess County area there are some areas of Kentucky that are much worse off. Smithland, Calvert City and Paducah all have flooding challenges.

I was in Molene Illinois this past weekend to announce Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam. While there I visited the John Deere Pavilion. The Pavilion is on River Rd. across from the I-Wireless Center and the attached Raddison hotel.

If you have lived in Owensboro for at least 5 years you know the areas that flood when it rains. Last spring, right before the drought, we experienced a somewhat better spring flood season.
