Last Friday, I went to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari with my Dad, my sister and brother-in-law, and Zoey. I had not been to the park in probably 12-13 years. Of course, it was a blast and I could not believe how much Splashin' Safari had grown. The water park has snagged another honor, this time from USA Today.

Well, this is exciting news for the Tristate! Holiday World has announced the dates of their opening weekend!

In the pre-Holiday World years, my family would bundle up and head north for one of our Christmas traditions.

One of the biggest changes that is going into the $5.5 Million in renovations, will be the closing of Kringle's Kafe.

We are very proud of our friends at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari.  They again won huge honors at the annual Golden Ticket Awards, which were held over the weekend in Branson, Missouri.  One of the park's attractions has been named the World's #1 Water Park Ride!
