We temperature hovering well below freezing and an arctic blast expect to come across the area, much of the Tri-State is under a Wind Chill Advisory for today.

Enjoy the next two days of mind weather because the forecast will change significantly by the weekend. Forecasters are warning of what could be a severe winter storm.

Whether, get it, it snows this weekend or two months from now, it's always a good idea to be fully prepared. I've discovered a Kentucky.gov website that covers all things snow and ice.

I can't remember the last time I've seen something sweep the nation like this. And it's for a GREAT CAUSE, which makes it better. Seriously, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is like this huge human domino chain.

All right, since I showed you the snowy stairs, and since we got all that sleet and freezing rain after my first video, I now present what conditions have transpired since then. A couple of notes, at one point I say I'm going to "turn the camera off", uh, sorry. It was about 5 degrees when I shot this, and, most important, I didn't fall. Let's watch.

UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Paducah has officially issued a Winter Storm Watch for the entire Tri-State area beginning Thursday evening.
