Evansville's Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden shared the sad news of the passing of the 18-year-old Clouded Leopard who has called the zoo home since 2005.

For the first time in zoo history, Komodo Dragons will be on exhibit at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden. These highly anticipated new residents will receive a warm welcome from Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and be introduced at a press conference on Friday, October 18, at 1:30pm in the Kley Building at the Zoo.

The Evansville Zoo is now the new foster home to a couple of Mexican wolf pups. Earlier last week, the extremely rare, male cubs were transported to Mesker Park Zoo, after being born under risky conditions in New York.
