Dierks Bentley made a surprise appearance in Owensboro and met lots of fans at Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn.

Owensboro is known as the Barbeque Capital of the World and another local restaurant is getting in on the action. Brew Bridge is set to launch their brand new BBQ menu.

Okay, so Halloween is almost here and a couple of weeks ago I put out a feeler for ideas for Owensboro-inspired costumes. I love these and one is so out of the box, it's brilliant.

This is really cool. Not one, but two Owensboro restaurants have made the Kentucky Top 10 for National Elite organization.

I thought the only "madness" tied to this time of year was college basketball. I was wrong. There's a new bracket out there to determine the country's best BBQ spot. Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn is in the field of 32!

One day after being named a 2011 NASCAR Hall of Fame honoree Owensboro's Darrell Waltrip came to town to film part of a TV show on his life. Darrell Waltrip Hometown Hero will air one hour before the first Sprint Cup Race at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta on July 9.
