Well, don't get used to the sunny skies and temperatures near sixty we're going to experience today.  By this time next Friday, it's going to be much colder and we could have snow on the ground.  Various forecasting services are calling for the return of accumulating snow!

I know, all thoughts of snow may have crept out of your mind for the past few days, but this is something we are all guilty of, especially when we have a lot of snow, we don't properly clean off our cars.

We temperature hovering well below freezing and an arctic blast expect to come across the area, much of the Tri-State is under a Wind Chill Advisory for today.

With Winter Weather comes the obligatory snow pictures! I have truly been enjoying seeing all the posts on social media. From building snowmen to sledding its' so much fun! We want to see yours! Post them below~

Enjoy the next two days of mind weather because the forecast will change significantly by the weekend. Forecasters are warning of what could be a severe winter storm.

Whether, get it, it snows this weekend or two months from now, it's always a good idea to be fully prepared. I've discovered a Kentucky.gov website that covers all things snow and ice.

Is this the week for our first accumulating snow of the season?

Okay, so it may be awhile before we see a significant snow event. I'm talking a foot or more; in the meantime, here's a loud way to get snow off your car. It's pretty clever!

According to several weather sources throughout the tri-state area the weather forecast for the weekend is looking snowy!

This morning, I was reminded of what the weather was like twelve years ago right before Christmas, it was brutal. We rarely see a white Christmas around these parts, but in 2004, holiday travel was at a snail's pace or a standstill. Oh, what a ride!
