#TBT: Camping and Church Picnics at Schafer Camp [VIDEO,PHOTOS]

For me, part of growing up meant spending time at Schafer Baptist Camp. If you're unfamiliar, it's in Hancock County. Just take a left off 144 when you get to Pellville if you're coming from Owensboro. You'll eventually see the sign on the right.

But, yeah, camping and church picnics were a big part of my childhood and they were a BLAST!

When I came across Schafer Camp not too long ago, I went onto the grounds to look around and met Jason Nichols, the camp director and an associate pastor at Life Community Church.

He told me to come back any time for a walk-through. He also sent me some VERY COOL old photos that you'll see beneath this video:
