Now THIS is the way to spend the summer! Luke Hilgenhold, who's from Tell City, Indiana, just landed a job on tour with an up-and-coming country music star.  He's out on the road with Jameson Rodgers and will be on tour with him all summer long selling merchandise.

In fact, here's some of Luke's handy work on full display.  Here's a great photo of the merch table from the second stop of the tour!

Luke landed his exciting, new job with Futureshirts, which, according to Luke, is "a full-service merchandise company providing product development, direct to consumer and tour support."  Luke has been working in the company's e-commerce warehouse for the past year.  The opportunity for a merchandising rep to go out on the road popped up and he quickly jumped at the chance.  Luke's pumped to get the opportunity to experience life on the road with a touring artist.

Over the weekend, Luke shared this on Facebook- I am very thankful for Futureshirts for allowing me to have this opportunity! I have a lot to learn, but I am excited to travel and get back to live shows!

And live shows are definitely back.  Here's a view of the stage and the crowd (from Luke's view from merch table) at a recent concert.

Luke recently graduated from Belmont University in Nashville where he studied Music Business.  And, now, he's getting hands-on experience with Jameson Rodgers, who recently took his debut single, "Some Girls", all the way to #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart.

And, of course, Jameson has another huge hit on his hands as well.  For his latest release, he wrangled some help from THE hottest star in country music right now, Luke Combs!

Jameson's tour includes stops in over a dozen states (including New York, Texas and California) and a date at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville.  Jameson will be a part of the Texas Roadhouse Free Concert Series on Saturday, August 28th, the finale night of the 2021 fair. That's giving Luke Hilgenhold a chance to share his own tour experience with friends and family very close to home.

Before he gets to Kentucky though, Luke's going to put a lot of miles on that merch.  He says, "I am most excited to get to travel and see a lot of the country that I wouldn’t have had the chance to see without this opportunity."

Here's our full interview with Luke from this morning's show!
