TV Stars and Radio Stars Team Up for Lip Sync Battle Opening

Last night's Lip Sync Battle at the Owensboro Convention Center was an absolutely amazing and hilarious night of entertainment. Huge shout outs go to Owensboro Health's Maternity Services, who were crowned Grand Champions by the audience. Another huge shout out goes to Brandi Rone and her team. They won the Community Piece Award for raising the most money of any team ($20,000!). The entire night was full of incredible performances. Here's how the show started. Angel and I were getting ready backstage when Jeff Rhinerson, from Live with Jeff, came to tell us we had been cut from the opening number. In his words, "We have TV stars this year. And video killed the radio star." LOL!!! We'll, we were not going to take it!

At the end of the night, over $123,000 had been raised by a sell out crowd. And, not only were folks in attendance treated to the special performances by 14 WFIE and News 25, they were treated to five jaw-dropping Lip Sync Battles. At the end of the night, only team could take home the Grand Champion Award. Here's the team that claimed it!
