Today Was Edith Bennett’s Birthday

June 21, 1931, Edith Bennett was born. On April 12, 2013, I lost my friend and co-worker has her life ended where she spent much of it -- in church. Third Baptist to be specific.  I believe for Edith it was God, Country, Family and then WOMI. She loved this radio station and many WOMI listeners loved Edith. She served the station faithfully for 62 years. She arrived in summer and left in spring. But, never left our hearts. Rest in the Everlasting Arms, Edith.
