Tristate Faces Enhanced Severe Weather Threat Tuesday
This week officially marks the start of severe weather here in the tristate. And that season is kicking off with a potential bang. According to the National Weather Service, we're facing an ENHANCED risk of severe weather Tuesday. And, as Eyewitness News meteorologist Ron Rhodes puts it, "All threats are in play." Those threats include the risk of tornadoes.
I follow storm chaser Reed Timmer on Twitter and, early Sunday, he tweeted that he was tracking potential severe weather in our area this week.
This morning, the National Weather Service is echoing those sentiments and our official forecast calls for an ENHANCED risk.
Stay tuned to WBKR. We and our weather partners, Eyewitness News, will keep you up-to-date on an breaking weather situation.
