U.S. 60 Traffic Advisory

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict a 4-lane section of US 60/US 231 to one lane in each direction in Daviess County east of Owensboro starting today, Wednesday December 7.

The lane restriction is to facilitate construction of the US 60 Owensboro Extension Project.

Both eastbound and westbound traffic on US 60 will be restricted to one lane at the 24 mile marker in Daviess County. This is at the US 60 Intersection with Hawes Boulevard near the Hawesway Truck Stop.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach this work zone. This lane restriction is expected to be in place for a couple of weeks.
