Vote for John Prine for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Although he's been eligible since 1996, John Prine has scored his first Rock and Roll of Fame nomination for the Class of 2019.

An artist/group is eligible 25 years after his/her/their first release which Prine's self-titled debut came out in 1971. Prine has had a bit of a career resurgence with the release of his critically-acclaimed 24th album Tree of Forgiveness. He's a three-time Grammy winner.

Other first time nominees for 2019 include: Def Leppard, Devo, Stevie Nicks, Roxy Music, and Tood Rundgren.
