Where to Find and How to Use McDonald’s New “Frork” [VIDEO]

Earlier in the week WBKR introduced you to the new Signature Recipe Sandwiches at McDonald's and the Frork to help with "The Topping Droppings". The Frork will be available at select locations tomorrow morning, but I'm giving you a video sneak peek today!

What a day yesterday! It started on a mission to find the new McDonald’s Frork which turned into quite an adventure. I went to several Owensboro McDonald’s and found that many employees hadn’t heard of it and weren’t sure if they’d have them Friday morning. So, then I started calling Evansville and Bowling Green locations which actually could have been a great video in itself.

I’d ask the employee, “Will you have the new Frork Friday morning”?

Clerk, “You’re breaking up, can you please repeat that”?

Me, “the Frork, a new utensil with French Fries as the prongs”!

Insert long pause….Clerk “No, we don’t have it”.

Me, in my head, “they have no idea what I’m talking about and they must think I’m crazy”!

Every call after that was virtually the exact same response. I was dying inside and wanted to burst out laughing.

Then I remembered there was an 800 number in the video from my story on WBKR.com Tuesday and yes, I actually called that number. I’m desperate at this point. The automated message did share information about the Frork, but told me there were no locations near me carrying the utensil Friday. I wasn’t about to give up yet.

I then hit the web and found out that there’s an actual site dedicated to the special sandwiches and new Frork and it gave me locations where they’d be available and low and behold…. there are locations near us!

So, off I went to N. Green River Rd. in Evansville in search of the Frork.
