Whitesville Mercantile to Host Drive-Thru BBQ Fundraiser
It's time for the 4th Annual Christmas Wish Open House at the Whitesville Mercantile on Saturday. Jerry Morris and the Angels for Ashley Cooking Team will be cooking up some delicious BBQ, the Mercantile will have refreshments, giveaways and sales to celebrate the event. Proceeds benefit Christmas Wish.
It's an event that we look forward to every year, although it will look a bit differently this year because of COVID-19 restrictions. There will be no Santa this year, but you'll still have a chance to mask-up to win some amazing items inside the Mercantile, all to benefit those less fortunate in the community. You do not have to be present to win.
During the Whitesville Mercantile "Christmas Open House", on Saturday, November 21st, 2020, they'll be cooking for Christmas Wish. Jerry Morris and Angels for Ashley cooking team will be smoking some tasty meat just in time for Thanksgiving.
While the meat lasts, there will be chicken, ribs and butt available during the drive-thru.
$35 - Whole Butts
$25 - Ribs
$10 - Chickens
So far, Christmas Wish has received over 600 wish letters and we're just getting started. The need is real during this difficult year, and will be even more difficult for many in the coming weeks. You can come out and support the mission on Saturday, and there's still time to fill out a wish letter if you're in need.
