Working Hands Ministry (Shaped by FAITH)

Dianne Morris is the Director of Working Hands Ministry, a Non-Profit organization in our community located at 625 Allen Street inside of Zion United Church. Dianne shares the reason she started this Ministry for the working class people in 2012.  Working Hands is a Non-profit Organization to assist working families with medicine, rent, utilities, food, etc. This organization helps families that make too much money to qualify for help from other agencies.

Working Hands is accepting donations such as household items, clothes, furniture and always Food! Their pantry is open to the public regardless of a persons working status. You can help so many families during the Holidays by donating food to fill their pantry.

Here is a list of pantry items needed. They also accept Monetary Donations that is tax deductible!

Green Beans, Corn, Boxed Mac & Cheese, Instant Potatoes, Canned Veggies, Canned Fruits, Pasta Noodles, Instant Oatmeal, Cereal, Peanut Butter, Rice, Canned Chicken, Canned Tuna, Eggs, Frozen Meat, Milk, Diapers, Baby Wipes, Toilet Paper, Soap, Tooth Paste, Tooth Brushes, Shampoo/Conditioner, etc...

Dianne Morris has a big heart and she wants to do something special for two of her Volunteers who are both Grandmothers raising their grandchildren and also their great grandchildren. She suggested giving them both gift cards to Walmart to help shop for Christmas. Would you consider helping these ladies have a wonderful Christmas and donating gift cards!
