Owensboro Convention Center Groundbreaking Ceremony March 13

 After several years of planning it looks like work is about to begin on te Owensboro Convention Center. NewsTalk 1490 WOMI received the following release regarding the groundbreaking event.

We also understand the groundbreaking event will be held in conjunction with the groundbreaking  for the new hotel to be built by the Malcolm Bryant Corporation providing zoning issues are resolved by that point.

 The City of Owensboro and Daviess County Fiscal Court invite the region to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Owensboro Convention Center at the corners of Cedar and Second Streets in Owensboro on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
