15th Annual “Wiener Dog Derby” Fundraiser at Ellis Park! [PHOTOS]

Cuteness Overload! The 15th Annual Wiener Dog Derby returns to Ellis Park in Henderson. It's fun, it's hilarious and it's FREE.

Hot Diggety Dog. Who will have the fastest wiener at this year's wiener dog races? It's going to be pretty adorable waiting to find out! 

Grab the entire family and head out to Ellis Park on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, to watch the Wiener Dog Derby from 10 AM to 6 PM. Which pup will have bragging rights as the fastest wiener dog?

All money raised on this race, will go directly to local nonprofits, PC Pound Puppies and PAAWS No-Kill Animal Rescue. What a fun day at the racetrack it will be, as those cute “hot dogs” battle it out for the crown. The Wiener Takes All.

So, who'll cross the finish line first? Will it be an underdog? Watch as those short-legged precious little Dachshunds race to the finish line!

*****Gates open at 10:00am. The first horse race is at 12:50pm CT! There will be two wiener dog qualifying heats at approximately 2:00pm (or after 3rd horse race) and 3:00pm (after 5th horse race). The Wiener Dog Derby will be held after the 7th horse race of the day.*****
