Cities with the Lowest Cost of Living in the United States

The website, Niche, recently listed the cities with the lowest cost of living in the country for 2022. Before we take a look at the Indiana cities that made the list, let's first take a look at how they came to their results:

The number one city on this list happens to be found right here in Indiana. The city of Fort Wayne, Indiana tops the list of cities with the lowest cost of living in the United States. That's a pretty notable accolade for the city.

Not far behind Fort Wayne is South Bend, Indiana, home of the University of Notre Dame, coming in at number four.

For us here in southern Indiana, the city of Evansville is number seven on this list as well.

Three Indiana cities making the top ten on a list like this says a lot. So, if you're looking to plant your roots in Indiana, it looks like financially, sticking around these three cities is your best bet.
