5 Missouri Prisoners On the Run After Escaping from this Jail

There are 5 Missouri inmates who are now on the run after escaping from the Saint Francois County Detention Center Tuesday night. Authorities have shared details and pictures of the men that are now being sought by law enforcement authorities.

The Saint Francois County Sheriff's Department shared this news on their Facebook page earlier today detailing exactly how 5 prisoners made their way into a secured cell and through a door until the reached the ground.

The bulletin says that once the inmates were in the parking area, they "stole a grey 2009 Scion TC with Missouri temporary tags". All inmates also discarded their orange jumpsuits and are now said to be wearing "white thermal leggings, white boxer and/or basketball shorts and white t-shirts".

The St. Francois County Sheriff's Department added an important note for anyone who thinks they've seen the escaped inmates:

This investigation is on-going. If you know of the location of any of the escaped inmates contact the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department at (573)756-3252 or Joint Communications at (573)431-3131. If you spot any escaped inmate, call 9-1-1 and do not approach the fugitives.
