Many Kentucky National Guard's 206th Engineer Battalion soldiers were sent on a year-long deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. They're missing their family members, friends and community. They're missing home. And, they'll be missing birthdays, anniversaries and holidays. This is a small, but wonderful way to say thank you!

The first round for the Adopt-a-Soldier Care Package Project will happen on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 from 9 AM – 1 PM. Students and staff at the Daviess County Public Schools have been putting together care packages to send to our brave soldiers. This will be a wonderful chance to say thank you for their service and sacrifice. A chance to send a piece of home and just in time for the holidays.

Donation drop off will begin at 8AM and will continue until around 12PM at the Owensboro National Guard Armory. Once complete, all packages will be delivered to Packages Plus for shipping.
