Albion Fellows Bacon Center is laying the foundation for a safer tomorrow and invites you to take part in a ceremonial groundbreaking on Tuesday, October. 15, beginning at 3:00 pm at Old National Bank on 1 Main Street.

“Albion has been a haven of safety and support for thousands of individuals in our community for over 38 years,” says Kristie Byrns, Executive Director of Albion Fellows Bacon Center. “This milestone is a time to reflect on all that this Agency has been able to provide in support of survivors and also to thank all of our supporters. Updates to our facility will allow us to continue providing enhanced services for many years to come.”

The campaign marks the second significant fundraising effort for the organization, the first taking place over 31 years ago to establish the current facilities. In this time, the building has homed thousands of individuals with no major renovations. Thanks to the support of our community, Albion will extend the existing space by adding three shelter bedrooms, two shelter bathrooms, and office space that brings staff under one secure roof. Also, the facility will renovate current areas like the center’s living room, kitchen, and children’s playroom.
