Angel’s Daughter Charlotte Celebrated Her Third Birthday This Weekend (PHOTOS)
Angel here! When people say time flies as you get older and it's even faster after you have kids they weren't playing around. Charlotte celebrated her 3rd birthday this weekend!
I remember the exact moment Joe and I found out we were pregnant (ok I was pregnant but he helped LOL). It was Sunday, April 11, 2015 and we had to keep it a secret for almost an entire month just to be sure everything was alright.
One month later on Tuesday, May 12, we headed to see Dr. Smith and found out we were for sure having a baby. When we married of course, people immediately started asking if we would have any children. Joe said he was good just having the boys and so was I but we also wanted to leave it up to the plans of the Lord.
Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.
That is exactly what he did! While we were content with our family as it was he saw so very much more.
On Thursday, June 18, the ultrasound nurse confirmed everyone's hope, God had blessed us with a baby girl.
Job 42:10 says, "After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before."
The pregnancy was a very long and hard journey that most days only Joe and I experienced as we kept it to ourselves. Health scares, exhaustion, and regular pregnancy woes kept us on our toes.
On Tuesday, November 10, our gorgeous Charlotte Elizabeth Welsh, made her entrance into the world at 5 pounds 11 ounces and just 18 inches long.
Our lives would be forever changed. Each year gets better with her, sassier but better.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate our girl. We had the party at the Owensboro Museum of Science & History so the kids had lots of room to run!
My momma's best friend Debbie even got to come and meet her for the first time. It was such an amazing time.
Charlotte of course had to have a cake fit for a Princess and Rapunzel cookies because she is her favorite Disney Princess. My friend Nichole Wilson from Blondie's Bakery made them and she did exactly what I asked! I gave her a picture and BOOM!
Charlotte got baby dolls, princesses, strollers, and more. She absolutely loved it all. We actually had a dual birthday for Tucker and Charlotte but I will share his photos when his birthday rolls around!
Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate our girl with us. And thanks for always letting me share my family with you!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRECIOUS GIRL! WE LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK~
