Brenda Sue’s Story (Shaped by Faith)
I really enjoy having guests on my show who love sharing what God has done for them. We serve a good God! He cares for us, even when we are not living for Him. This show is all about inspirational guests sharing their stories, and hopefully their stories will motivate you to be who God has called you to be. God loves You!
Brenda Sue shares her story of faith and transformation, and how God pursued her to turn to him while she was staying in a homeless shelter. She talks about what it was like as a child growing up in a home where both parents abused drugs and alcohol.
You absolutely have to hear her story! There is always HOPE! Brenda Sue speaks from her heart as she tells about her path to sobriety, and how God helped her each step of her journey. It has not been an easy road, but whose life is easy as a Christian? We each learn to live uncomfortably, in most situations, and most days of the week:)
Brenda Sharp, the Director of the Life Bridge Ministry at Owensboro Christian Church talks about meeting Brenda Sue for the first time at CrossRoads, a local homeless shelter. She talks about forming a close friendship with Brenda Sue, while encouraging and helping her through the recovery process.
God moved Brenda Sue from a homeless shelter and she now is the director of a ministry that helps people in need through Matthews Table.
Tune in to Shaped by Faith with Theresa Rowe LIVE on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8AM on 99.1FM, WOMI Owensboro 1490 AM, or WGBF Evansville 1280 AM.
