Brooms Can Actually Stand Upright Any Time of the Year
I had no idea what was happening when I began to see picture after picture on Facebook of folks standing their brooms upright.
Was it National Recreate a Scene from Fantasia Day?
Was everyone FINALLY tired of, you know, actually HOLDING the broom as they swept?
These were legit questions.
But then I got to thinking that maybe the Earth is at a certain angle right now that makes this possible. You know, some SCIENTIFIC reason like we're at a specific and significant point between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox (otherwise known as the first days of winter and spring).
But then I learned about the #broomstickchallenge.
A WPSD-Paducah story tells us of a viral tweet that said NASA suggested yesterday, Monday, February 10th, was the only day you could do the standing broom thing.
But NASA wouldn't say that because they know better:
See?
Any. Time. Of. The. Year.
Look...I can do it too.
