Chamber Breakfast Features Political Commentator John David Dyche

Courier-Journal political columnist and Senator Mitch McConnell biographer John David Dyche is the guest speaker at this Thursday’s Chamber of Commerce Rooster Booster Breakfast.

Dyche writes a regular political column for The Courier-Journal and does political commentary for Kentucky Educational Television. His articles on Kentucky politics have appeared in The Weekly Standard, and he has appeared as a guest on The Sean Hannity Show and C-SPAN's Washington Journal. Dyche’s book, "Republican Leader: A Political Biography of Senator Mitch McConnell," was published by ISI Books in 2009.

The 2012 Class of Emerge Owensboro will also be introduced at the breakfast. Emerge Owensboro is a joint program of the Chamber and the Economic Development Corporation that spans eight months and immerses class members in community issues and teaches leadership skills.

Brescia University is the September Rooster Booster Breakfast sponsor. The
breakfast is held in the Community Center at Owensboro Christian Church and
begins at 7:30 a.m. Reservations are required and should be made by calling the
Chamber at (270) 926-1860 by noon on Wednesday, August 31st. They can also be made online at www.owensboro.com/chamber. The $10 fee includes a buffet breakfast.
