Just take a look in your closet right now! Is it anything like mine? I have shoes that I purchased and maybe wore once or twice. I decided that they were uncomfortable or weren't my thing and never wore them again. Why keep unwanted shoes laying around just to take up space? Country Heights Elementary School is looking for your new or gently worn shoes. Do you want to help donate shoes for a good cause? Here's a very good reason why!

Country Heights Elementary Shoe Drive

You have until November 26th, 2021 to drop off shoes at Country Heights Elementary in Owensboro. The shoes will be given a new life to impact someone else's life. They will ship the shoes to twenty-four different countries. The goal is to collect one hundred casual, dress, boots, or athletic shoes to help those in need.

The mission of the shoe drive - shoes can prevent infections, protect from diseases, provide economic and educational opportunities, and propel individuals to pursue their dreams!

They have boxes set up at the school where they can be dropped off. Anyone can help by donating gently worn and new shoes today! Thank you to the students and faculty at Country Heights Elementary School for caring and sharing.
