Daviess County, Kentucky Fire Department Breaks Donation Record Once Again

The Daviess County Fire Department hosted a golf scramble, as they do every year to raise money for those less fortunate in the community. Here's the interview, and video, from the check presentation at the Christmas Wish Studio that happened on Wednesday.

The Daviess County Fire Department is a major Christmas Wish supporter every year, and we get excited when they visit the Christmas Wish Office. We know that we can always count on them to make dreams come true for area children!

And, this year was no exception. We were so happy when they walked through the door on opening day. We were even more excited when they presented the check for the 2021 season. They raised over $14,000 to help those in need this holiday season. How incredible is that, and it set a fundraising record! We are so grateful for all that these brave men and women do all year long to support the mission, with the help of the community. There wasn't a dry eye in the house at the Christmas Wish Headquarters when the donation was presented. It was just incredible.

There were many local businesses that stepped up to support the 2021 Golf Scramble and we want to mention every single one of them. Christmas Wish celebrates its 45th Anniversary in a new location this season. Take a sneak peek inside the headquarters located in Towne Square North (formally the old Shoe Stop location) and see how you can help this season. We're open Monday through Friday from 9 to 6 and then Saturday from 11 to 4.
