Before you call it a night on Saturday (or Sunday morning, you party monster!), be sure to take a stroll through your home and knock the clocks back an hour as Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 a.m.

Fortunately, in today's world, any clock with an internet connection should update itself (you're phone for example). However, I'm willing to bet the most important clock in your house, your alarm clock, probably requires you to set it manually, as does your stove, microwave, and any decorative clocks you may have hanging on the wall.

Personally, I'm not a fan of this part of daylight savings. Frankly, I hate it. Specifically the fact that when I get to work around 7:30 a.m., the sun is barely up, then when I leave around 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. it's already most of the way down. I need my vitamin D!

Fortunately, the time amount of time until we get that precious hour of sun back was shortened back in 2007 when they trimmed four weeks off the time we fall back to the next time we spring forward.

Let the countdown begin to March 11, 2018!

P.S. Don't forget about your car clock too!
