Despite What You’ve Seen, Colby’s in Owensboro Is NOT Closing [PHOTO]

Some confusion has been playing out on social media--Facebook, in particular--about a sign on the side of a building on St. Ann Street in downtown Owensboro.

So let's clear it up.

Collin MacQuarrie, whose folks own Colby's Fine Food & Spirits, took to Facebook Friday to explain a sign that many have seen and misunderstood.

I can understand why passersby might think what they've been thinking.

So, we're all happy to report, thanks to Collin, that a venerable Owensboro restaurant--good Lord, Colby's has been there a long time, right?--is doing just fine.
