In two out of three states in the Tri-State it's illegal to have a lemonade stand! But there's a catch!

Daniel Hurst

Who would have known that Indiana and Kentucky were so anti-lemonade?  I mean it's the perfect, refreshing drink on a hot Summer day! Apparently due to certain laws in Indiana and Kentucky, lemonade stands are illegal. However, if you live in Illinois, you can sell lemonade all you want!

Don't worry though, if you want to set up a lemonade stand, there's one lemonade company that will have your back! If  you (or your kids, since usually kids sell lemonade, but no judgement if you do) get in trouble with the law for running a lemonade stand, Country Time Lemonade will pay for your fines and permits.  That's why they launched Country Time Legal-ade!

Now I don't know about you,  but all this talk of lemonade has made me pretty thirsty! So we should have access to nice cold lemonade anywhere kids (or adults, hey again no judgement) want to set up a stand! So if you're tired of the lemonade injustice happening in Indiana and Kentucky, click here to send a letter to your state reps, and get the laws changed!

When life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade, whether you choose to drink that lemonade or sell that lemonade is your choice, because that's the American way!
