If you or someone you're close to has ever been pregnant, you know how exciting it is to get a glimpse of the growing baby.  I remember when my sister in laws were pregnant with my niece and nephew, I'd check my phone nonstop when they had an ultrasound appointment just waiting for them to text me a new photo to see how the little babies were growing. It was so exciting to get to see a glimpse of them, and see how they grew with each ultrasound.

This fall, USI is offering free ultrasound exams for pregnant participants to help their Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program students. These ultrasounds will be done on the USI campus for free.  However the sonograms are not diagnostic, they're for educational benefit only. So while they won't be able to take the place of a regularly scheduled ultrasound with your doctor, they are an extra cool chance to see the growing baby on a sonogram.

In order to have the free sonogram you need to have written doctor's permission. The ultrasounds will be done on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:30-2:30 October 15-December 3.  If you're interested in participating contact usi1dms@usi.edu
