Fireworks Show Happening in Downtown Owensboro, KY Tonight

Fireworks will illuminate the sky in Downtown Owensboro to celebrate Green River Distilling Company's new bourbon launch. Grab a blanket and get ready for colorful stars launching in all directions. Here are the best places to get a great view of the show.

Visit Owensboro shared that the illuminated celebration will happen tonight (February, 9th, 2022) at 8 PM. Grab the family and head to McConnell Plaza for a short fireworks display. The best places to view the fireworks will be along the riverfront between the RiverPark Center and the VFW. Green River Distilling Co. has been teasing us all month that a big announcement was coming. Tonight it's all going down.

Bring your lawn chairs, family, and friends for a random night out. Come hungry and visit any of the amazing restaurants in Downtown Owensboro. There are so many delicious options and after the fireworks show, why not grab a drink at any one of the hip bars too. Owensboro has so much to offer with great food and entertainment. I for one, can't wait for spring and summer to get here. The Owensboro Riverfront shines best during that time.
