Free Food Distribution Drive-Thru Coming to Owensboro
Alive Community Outreach will host a drive-thru meal distribution next week in hopes of feeding 500 families. The Local Antidote will hand out food boxes on Saturday. Here's what you need to know before you go.
Alive Community Outreach in partnership with the USDA, Tri-State Food Bank and Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, will offer FREE food for families in need on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 starting at 12PM. Everyone is welcome to come and pick up groceries until 4PM in the parking lot of Church Alive, 325 Carter Road in Owensboro. Two lines will be formed in this drive-thru only option to minimize contact and to keep families safe. Meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables and other food items will be offered during the event. There's enough food to impact over 500 families. One box per family, limit of three families per vehicle. What a beautiful blessing for so many during this difficult time.
The Local Antidote will also be handing out FREE food to those in need this Saturday, February 20th, 2021 from 10AM to 12PM. 1621 W 9th St, Owensboro
