Way back in 2012, a six-year-old little boy from Knottsville brought in all the money he raised for the kids to the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon, and ever since, Gavin Howard and his family have become a part of our St. Jude family.

Gavin is almost 15 now (!!!) and he has designed shirts every year to raise money.  This year, like he has for the last seven years, Gavin and his family joined us for the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon.  Not only did they raise $6000 selling their They Fight, I Fight t-shirts and sweatshirts, Gavin got 80 Partners-in-Hope during his hour of the St. Jude Radiothon for another $19,200.

By the way, this is so important to point out.  Since he started fundraising seven years ago, Gavin has raised nearly $40,000 with his t-shirt sales!

Since he was 7-years-old Gavin has been dreaming about the day he gets to head down to Memphis to tour St. Jude.  It's so hard for us to believe, but he's nearly at the age to get to do it.  When Gavin's sixteen, he'll be able to experience St. Jude first-hand.

Thank you Gavin, your family, community, and schools in Whitesville for your dedicated support to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital!
